Stacey and Paul’s Pre-Wedding Photography
This was Stacy and Paul’s Bangor pre-wedding photography day. They had their Covid-postponed wedding ceremony a few days later in The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn, but this was their actual signing the registry day at Bangor Castle. They asked us to come along and get a few photos for them on that day as well. Due to the Covid restrictions, we weren’t allowed into the registry office but we got some lovely shots to mark the occasion anyway.
It was great to get some family group shots with Stacy’s Mum and her partner there, as well as their absolutely gorgeous daughter who just loved having her photograph taken. We had such fun! It also served a great purpose, like all pre-wedding shoots for us to get to know them again, and for them to get to know Tracy and I a bit better and to become more comfortable in front of the cameras. Great preparation for the main event at The Old Inn a few days later!
The impressive, Bangor Castle building, which was built in 1852 for the Hon Robert Ward is set in the grounds of Castle Park in Bangor. With its lovely lawns and flower beds, including a wildflower area and views over Bangor bay, it is a great location for engagement, wedding or pre-wedding photography.
