Socially Distanced Wedding
The summer of 2020 and Iola and Stuart had a fantastic, outdoor, socially distanced wedding. Their church car park on the periphery of the sleepy Culcavy village in County Down, with it’s central large Oak tree provided an idyllic location. Iola and Stuart were married under the Oak tree, very much with the safety of their guests in mind. The car park was decorated, the PA system was tried and tested, the catering was ready to rock, and to cap it all the sun came out to play!
Guests had the option of socially distanced seating during the wedding ceremony. For those more vulnerable under the circumstances, the car park had been arranged, drive in style, so that everyone could have a view of proceedings from the comfort of their own car. Stuart ended the ceremony with a surprise first dance for his bride and speeches and afternoon tea followed. We had a lovely walk through the nearby Hillsborough Forest for photographs before Stuart and Iola headed off for a small reception dinner with close family and friends.
